Fundraisers!!!

Many fundraisers will need to be held to gather the funds to bring Hannah home. I have heard/read on other blogs the “naysayers” who discourage adoptions if you can’t afford it. However paying $30,000 is a small price to pay to bring a child into a home, provide her with a loving family, and access to medical care that could be the difference between life and death (although in Hannah’s case medical care in her country would be adequate).

Introducing Hannah!!! She’s 2.5 yr old amazing little girl in Eastern Europe.  She’s currently living in an orphange which provides her with the best care they can.  She has enough to eat and clothes to wear but needs a family!!!  Please pray for Hannah to come home safely and stay healthy!!!
I am in the process of adopting her and need to raise $30,000 in order to bring her home!
Such a love!!!
I’m Amanda and will be trying to adopt Hannah as a single parent. I work as special education teacher for children with autism and other developemental disabilities.  I have always wanted to adopt and although adoption was a future goal once I saw Hannah it became an IMMEDIATE goal!!! I have heard the negative and positive of adopting a child on my own however I can’t imagine not adopting Hannah because I’m single.  As the saying goes “It is what it is”.
I want to be a parent and Hannah needs a family=perfect match :)

FAQs!!!

FAQs

Why International Adoption???

Mainly because this is where Hannah lives.  I would love to adopt domestically or a child in foster care but once I saw Hannah she was the child I wanted to adopt.  There is soo much paperwork, money, and time that goes into International Adoption that it’s not something you go into unless you’re 100% committed to it.

Are there risks???

Yes there are many.  Although Hannah is an orphan her biological parents have to approve her for international adoption.  They can refuse to do this and Hannah will remain in an orphange.  It is unfair to Hannah and the family that awaits her but ultimately this is the chance I’m taking.

Another risk is that a judge will have to approve Hannah’s adoption once I travel to her country.  A judge can deny a family adopting that child or wait to give their decision (maybe months/years-this is rare but supposedly has happened).
